I hate to do this to you, but of the 2 airplanes I am going to have available for the race, this past weekend 1 was not finished with the repairs and the other had a fuel issue and I was not able to maiden her. I don't want to make the trip and find out that my planes are not ready to go, which would waste your time and mine. So I would like to hold off on Saturday the 23rd and come up on Sunday the 31st, if that is good with you.
I have to say that Matt who offered to repair the POS plane I had at the last race is doing an amazing job on her. He has totally stripped the covering, beefed up the plane, clipped the wing, has recovered the wing, and is working on the body as we speak, and test run the new motor. I have to thank Matt for the offer and the job he is doing.

completely understand. That will work out just fine. (With the 3-day weekend, that gives me plenty of opportunity to get other tasks done that weekend; and, it also gives me an extra week to try to have the wing completed, anyway.) My whole goal is to make sure you guys are able to make the most of your visit.
As you get closer to the date, and have a better idea of what you want to do, and therefore the specific time you want to get there, let me know and I will ensure I get there a little early.
