Nishioka has been custom building pattern planes for top pilots around the globe for decades and his workmanship is outstanding (I own a Mystery that he built for Steve Helms back in the early '90s). Yoshioka won the worlds in '73 (if memory serves) and founded Yoshioka Models a few years later. His winning model, the Blue Angel (a popular classic pattern design) was actually kitted by MK. MK kitted designs by Prettner, Matt and Naruke. Naruke started his own company around 1990 and has been producing kits, ARCs and ARFs of his designs since then. There are other Japanese pattern kit manufacturers, but, sadly, they won't ship overseas.
