I received my new plane about 10 days ago... I thought I would post a few pictures here. Weights to follow as soon as I can get down into the workshop and do some weighing. The plane is designed by Nishioka in Japan - he produces several planes - Status, Professor, and Success amongst them.

Weights are as follows:
Left stab (with tubes) - 105g
Right stab - 95g
Top wing - 525g
Bottom wing - 510g
Fuselage - 1010g
Parts bag (gear/struts/horns/spinner etc.) - 395g
Total of 2640g. I'm using the Hacker Q80 13XS (520g) with the Hacker Mezon Opto 95 Lite (98g), 6 Futaba BLS173SV (28g each - total 168g), Futaba BLS175SV for rudder (66g), Futaba R7003SB Rx (7.1g). TP 900mah Rx pack (50g) and TP 5400mah (1170g) and Futaba switch which probably weighs around 5g. Total is around 4725g or so... and then the prop which is about 50g. I'm thinking the plane will be in the 4850 range - not bad!
Wing strut connection is as follows:

You're probably thinking of Yoshioka?

My Feedback: (121)
Hi Claude,
Nishioka has been custom building pattern planes for top pilots around the globe for decades and his workmanship is outstanding (I own a Mystery that he built for Steve Helms back in the early '90s). Yoshioka won the worlds in '73 (if memory serves) and founded Yoshioka Models a few years later. His winning model, the Blue Angel (a popular classic pattern design) was actually kitted by MK. MK kitted designs by Prettner, Matt and Naruke. Naruke started his own company around 1990 and has been producing kits, ARCs and ARFs of his designs since then. There are other Japanese pattern kit manufacturers, but, sadly, they won't ship overseas.

PS thanks for the Harmonie plans
