Hello, there seems to be confusion at my airfield. People are saying that the inspector is responsible everytime I fly !? How could this be. Why would they want to be an LMAI if that were the case...especially for inspections to total strangers. I can see at time of inspection.... But thereafter ? Doesn't make sense to me. Doesn't my ama membership have anything to do with my model ?
please clarify this.....

also,I noticed in the AMA outline of LMA section. If a plane is under 75lbs a self inspection can be done.... How do you go about this ?
