Default Test of Radio Setup for Fourstar 40 kit

I wanted to test the receiver, receiver battery and servos for my Fourstar 40 kit before installing anything. I'm using an AR6200 receiver with a Spektrum DX6i. Here's a picture of the setup.

The battery is connected to the switch. The switch is connected to the "Batt" port on the AR6200. The switch is in the "on" position and I can see the RX light when I turn it on. The one servo is connected to the Aileron port.

I believe the battery has a full charge as I left it on the charger for several hours. I haven't tested it with a multi-meter yet, but when I power on, the servo motor cycles a bit, so I'm pretty sure it has at least enough power to move the motor.

The problem is that with my TX turned on (I turn it on before I turn on the RX switch BTW) the servo does not respond to any stick movement.

I have followed the binding instructions, and each time, it seems that the bind process works properly. This was a working RX that I pulled from another plane. Any ideas on what might be happening?

I do have another RX that I can try but I thought I would post here to see if anyone has suggestions to try.

Thanks!
Bob
