You should be able to download a revision to your Real Flight Delux to make it version xx.xx.216. Also your version should have a controller selection option of using a USB controller.

With this option, you can use the current G-2 USB controller that costs around $80.

The original controller with this version looked like a Futaba transmitter and it plugged into the game port.

I use a version of Real Flight simular to yours and I have the gameport type controller that I use through a USB - GAMEPORT adapter from Radio Shack.

I doubt that you will have much success with any controller for the other brand simulator as it had a Seriel interface that was sometimes made to work on the parallel port.

I have been unable to make channels 3 & 4 work on my Real Flight controller when using FMS.
