I purchased two (2) new Hen Long tanks. Both are S&S, both came with the standard Sender Radio Control. One is for my M4A3 105mm Howitzer and the other for my Panther "G". Switched the crystal to another older controller from my M-26 S&S, Tanks work great, no problems. A couple of friends also bought the HL Panther "G" with same controller as what came with mine. Supprise theirs didn't work either. Is it just us or has anyone ealse had this problem??? If so how did you fix it without having to buy new Controllers? Thanks for any help. Chuck R.
This is going to sound weird, but it's worked for 2 of my HL Tx: open battery bay, and the plastic dividers in the middle of the bay that splits the row of batteries? Take a pair of pliers to them and twist them off. As much of the plastic off as you can. Then put the batteries back and try again. There's some very old posts in other forums that mention this problem on the HL: for some reason those plastic dividers prevent the batteries from having good enough contact with each other and the Tx itself.
