Actually, when we used the older AMT USA ECU's (no electric start), we had to teach them every time you powered them on. For 2 channel operation, you went from stop, to middle (run, I think), to the end (shutdown?) with the aux channel and you got a beep when it recognized each position (no beeps, no start). Then you went 0% to 100%, to 0% on the throttle and you got a beep at each endpoint. Then you start, and all is well...
