I went to my local post office today to check on shipping a (1/16 panzer water cannon vehicle ) that weighs about maybe 3 pounds to Ontario Canada.I about fell over when i was told what it would cost just to ship it by "Snail Mail"....$38.65.....And i asked at the time if there were options as to how it could be shipped.This appears the only way and price for shipping it by U.S.Mail.
I didn't even bother to ask about insurance in case it arrived busted after traveling by "snail mail" which is not uncommon.I have had this model sitting on a shelf for several years and a member here wanted to buy it....I told him i would check the shipping cost and found a box (not the original box )that it could be shipped in and took it to the post office.The pictures below show the model in the box,although it is not totally wrapped as this was just for a price check on the shipping.
