I have never had an issue with Mato. However they are a large distributor, and issues can creep in when you are dealing on such a large volume and if you have a tank that arrives damaged. The low cost and small profit margin combined with the size and nature of these, can make resolution to a problem interesting. In most cases Mato will offer the replacement part , and suggest you repair it. It is the most cost effective approach. In all honesty when you own a tank at some time you are going to have to learn how to repair stuff that gets broken, and I doubt there are any of us who have been on this forum for any length of time that haven't had these thing in pieces. So the resolution offer with a new part to replace the broken one is fine in my expectations of service. Some people are not happy with this response though and there has been more then one story of someone being unhappy with Mato, when Mato has shied away from a complete replacement However this very reason is why you can still buy Heng Long tanks for less then $130. I don't want to lose that option, so I am prepared to fix a few things when I have to.
