Yeah, I imagine manufacturers are finding it hard to manage the expectations of newcomers into RC tanking, who have spent hundreds of dollars for a tank featuring marketing-speak terms like "professional" or "full option", only to discover problems right out the box, or after minutes of running. Erik is doing a commendable job of taking care of guys who run into problems, particularly those who are on here (and likewise he gets glowing reviews for his efforts), but it isn't really scalable if Taigen/Imex starts selling tanks by the thousands.

I hate to say this, but any tank, no matter the cost, will meet with some mechanical or electronic issue at some point of its use. When you consider the multiple gearboxes (up to five), electronics, and mass of wires to link everything together, provide lights, sound, and/or smoke, something is bound to happen sooner rather than later. If you can't see yourself opening up and fixing something, and would rather return it for someone else to fix (and shipping attracts its own risk of damage), then your tank would just be a shelf display model (but a very impressive one at that).
