Hi,

I don't mean to suggest that nobody has had luck with them. I only refer to my own experience. I used to manage what was at that time the largest LHS in southern California. We ordered lots of kits and gear for customers (including myself). We stopped at one point because they invariably came back. The gear would all leak or otherwise fall apart. Lots of slop, lots of brittle parts that looked molded. The shocks wouldn't compress if you put the slightest side load on them. As for the airplane kits, I personally returned a P-51 and F-104 that I ordered for myself. I was so disgusted with what came in the box I just shipped them back.

I did see a few sets of custom large-scale gear that seemed to function ok, but the off-the-shelf stuff was inop as the rule, not the exception. Unfortunately, I think the overall sentiment on the net is pretty much the same with most peoples' experiences with them, too. I wish it weren't so because I'd love to have an American gear producer with a wide variety to buy from.
