i got it to work! followed instruction from Ozarmour and from RCtankwarfare

"here is the instructions from the HL Leo A6 which comes with the new HL 2.4Ghz radio:

1. Turn on the radio and the tank
2. Press and hold the Start button on the radio
3. Press the Binding button on the receiver/tank

That should do it. I have never used the HL 2.4Ghz set as I sold mine new after ripping it out of the Leo but that's what is in the Leo instruction.

I hope this helps, and is the correct procedure.

easy done! Version 2 board is compatible with stock radio for Leo 2A6.
