Strange that telemetry is not that much used in the US. It has been around in Europe for some years now. I used to have a Jeti DC16 with full telemetry when it was released but changed back to Futaba once they supported telemetry. I have for almost two years been using Futaba 18MZ with telemetry sensor from SM-Modelbau a German company specialising in sensors. It works flawless and is half the price and size? of Robbe/Futabas own sensor.


The down side is that their web page, instructions and software are in German. Google translate should help for those of you that don't read German.

Jeti is for sure a bit more integrated. A bit more soldering and wiring when using Futaba. This is what I am using in one of my F3A models.
