Success today in keeping the new muffler on and together. I had four 10 minute flight's and not one issue with the muffler coming lose.
I used high temp red silicon on all the bolts and safety wire through the bolts that hold the muffler onto the engine. I had a littler leakage around the two half's where they come together but nothing to worry about. I also checked the end cap nuts that hold the two half's together after each flight and they where only slightly lose so a little turn on the nut and that was that.
The NGH GT17 is running real good now. I am getting 9000RPM on the high end with an evolution 14x8 prop and 2000RPM on idle. I am planning a winter project and I just my order another NGH GT17 to go into that project. I do wish I could find a verturi fo this walbro carb so I could use some nylon stocking as a air filter.
