Yes you can....you can adjust the rotor speed and the pitch with the settings in your radio. There is a throttle curve and pitch curve. There are different curves but for normal flying I have mine set so when I increase the throttle it also increases the pitch. Now in idle up or stunt mode you will have different pitch and throttle curves also. It's all adjustable. If you bought the heli new there should be some sample pitch and throttle curves in the instructions somewhere I would think. If not, you can probably get some example curves off the internet by doing a search.
Also, I'm not sure if you are new to helicopters or not but your helicopter has to be set up properly mechanically to make the pitch and throttle curves work properly.
