I've been flying a Big Stik 40 for a couple years with an OS46 and an 11-6 prop. Lo and Behold...I found I can hover the thing fairly well after replacing the prop with an APC 12-4. I really did not think the tail feathers were large enough. I think this is Stik #6 over the last 25 years. Does anyone remember the unpronounceable brand name (Asian?) Stik ARF's that were sold in the early 90's? (Chen Xiong??) I had a few of those. I had one break the main spar after too many square outside loops. I could buy one on Friday afternoon and fly it the next morning.
I put together a VMAR stik for my son, and we flew that for 6 or 7 years. I didn't expect it to last a season.

Anyways, I always bring out a Stick to loosen the fingers for the first flight. I have used it to buddy box (on low rates) anyone that wants to take a turn. I'll do things with it I won't do with my scale models, etc... I'll probably always have one in the stable.
