Another thing that was hunting me was adding the wing fences as I have seen a few Hawks that were painted in mold (like mine) and their fences looked horrible. so, the way I went about it was to first locate and tack glue the fences in perfect spot with Gel Zap CA which works great. Then, masked about 2mm away from the fences. Removed the fences and sanded the area and about 2mm from the gluing edge of the fences. Spot glued the fences back on and used Aero Poxy to glue them in place. Removed the masking tapes while Aero Poxy is wet and let it dry. Then, re-mask, sand lightly and paint. The result is great and they look like they were there from the first build. The fences are so strong that I can grab one and lift the wing with it. here are some pictures.
