Use the adapters for your particular engine. Have them cut for your particular props. Well worth it in my opinion.

I would send you my orig Venus spinner but I had to widen the cutouts to it for a 16X8 prop and the bolt on mine broke too. Also has a couple of dings from from prop kicks and trying to start with a slightly loosened prop.
