Gator,
The original spinner is no longer available, but this should be an exact (or super close) replacement:

Hi guys,
I have Venus II for a while ,recently I started to think to convert it from the OS 120ax to electric setup.
I saw in this post that some guys use motors such as A50 12L by Hacker or the Rimfire 1.20. , but those are too expensive for me so I found some motors and ESC on HK :
The PRODRIVE v2 5060 380kv, its weight 438[g] and capable to supply 2665[W](by their site).
or the Turnigy Aerodrive 6354-260kv, weight 489[g] and capable to supply 2360[W].
and Turnigy plush 100A esc.
I though to use 6 or 8 cell , ~4000 mah battery, with 16x8 prop.
will this be reasonable setup to practice f3a?

I am putting one of these together right now. I don't even remember when I bought it. The LHS that I bought it from has been out of business for at least 12 years.
I don't remember ever looking at it before, but after looking now this is the best built GP ARF I have seen.
I just bought a VV20re gasser for it, hopping this will power it well.
The best thing is that I have a very dry basement and the plane seems to have survived storage.
Looking forward to some precision work instead of my usual stick banging.
I am posting in this thread to make it easy for me to find and search this thread.
Any comments and thoughts will be appreciated.
Thanks
