Default RE: Ethics, Morals, and the Nominating Process

OK, I haven't read more than the first two of several pages, I am in agreement with the actions of Sandy Frank. If someone is overflying a neighbor's property, it is the responsibility of the club's officers to rectify the situation. If the president and other officers do not respond, then the AMA is in its rights to suspend the charter and insurance. While this may be a nuisance to the club members, it is the rights of every property owner to ensure that his/her property is protected from trespass. Now the comment that was made about commercial airlines trespassing, FAA allows aircraft to fly at 400ft agl or higher. Anything lower, can be considered trespass. We have had several complaints at our field that we didn't give proper right of way to low flying aircraft. While I doubt we were flying over the 400ft limit, I do understand that repeated complaints to the AMA without our officers responding, should warrant stern response not only from the AMA EC but from the club members who elected these officers to perform a function of maintaining the club in its best possible condition. When the officers violate this trust and cannot perform this function the members have the right to remove the officers from office. If the AMA requires information to put a matter to rest, and the club does not respond, their charter should be suspended and the club members should demand immediate action from its officers.

SO what is wrong with Sandy Frank?
As far as me… the biggest problem I have with him from my perspective is how he handled the threat to chartered club 4129. Do a search on that club here on RCU to learn more.
