I have and planning to incorporate some of the modifications that Mike put into his US 60. Solid ideas and worth the extra effort. I will use retracts and push them out one wing bay as he suggested. Adding flaps to get a little drag which will help shorten the approach for landing. I'm using an OS 120AX engine with a Mac's tuned muffled pipe (I like the sound and it gets the noise level down to our club sound limit for the field) which will boost power of the engine a bit when properly setup.

Thank you Mike (MinnFlyer) for the awesome build thread. I'm building the UltraSport 1000 but many of your ideas will work nicely with my build. I do have one of the US 60 kits too. After the US 1000 is off the table :-).
