Just got this Buggy up and going with a brand new Carb (Walbro WT-813)

There seems to be a problem with fuel being delivered to the carb, once I get fuel to the carb prime bulb the car will run, a minute or two later it bogs down and dies,
at this point there is air in the fuel line and the prime bulb is empty.
The tank has two connections, bottom line is fuel line with a filter, I pulled most of the slack out of the tank so the filter stays at the bottom of the tank,
the second line (top) is just bare line shoved into the tank...

Can anyone help me determine the problem?
