I just purchased two YS DZ engines. One is mounted on a 2 meter pattern plane and the other is a new spare. The one that is mounted has not been run in more than a year. The previous owner said he oiled the engine regularly but hadn't started it. My question is do I need to send these back to YS and have them gone through or do I just start it and see what happens?
