The motor in your kit is a brushed motor, a brushless ESC won't work. It has an extra motor wire. You must use an ESC designed for brushed motors. I recommend the 35 amp size.

The fuse is just extra weight and will blow at inconvenient moments. The ESC will shut off before a fuse can blow if there is an overload.
