Funny, I said the same thing about a year ago. Then a good pilot took my plane up, did a few rolling circles, rolling loops, flew inverted 2ft off the ground, and hovered it for about 1/2 tank; then he asked me to copy what he did....point well taken.

Assuming you are not able to do the maneuvers mentioned above, what's the rush??? A better flying plane will not make you a better pilot...so have fun and really wring out that trainer, get your moneys worth.
