Hi Bob! while it wouldnt be my first choice for hte aircraft, it does not sound like an unreasonable choice. The G2300 is my engine of choice for it when pumped as described in another thread. The OS 160FX is my second choice.

i've seen people flying it on the US41, which weighs far more (and requires a lot of tail weight) and spins only slightly more prop. It is not hte best performer in that combination, as it is simply too heavy to be a good 3D bird; however, it still has reasonable power (can hang but at WFO and takes some effort).

I think your G2000 would fly the plane nicely; if you are looking for climbing torque rolls, then you likely want something more.
