Default RE: Large 747

Hello!

Well, it flys great. I saw him flying at the recent Jetpower event here in germany. It is really stunning. And he build it in 1 year I think. The big Concorde for two 80N turbines he designed will be available fully molded in the near future. Let me translate the technicals:

Typ: Boeing 747-400
Scale: 1:16
length: 196 inch
Span: 177 inch
height: 61 inch
weight 60kg (approx. 140 lbs)
power-plant: 4x Skypipe with 80N thrust

peter has a special waiver to fly this big sucker. If the planes are over 25 kg (55 lbs?) and under 130kg you need a licence to fly them and the modell is checked before it gets registrated (as real planes..). They have to fly two times the same pattern to see if it was luck or skill

Best regards,

David
