Absolutely. I go over every part to determine any defects, & during the assembly process check each area for fit & alignment. I generally make out a short list of areas I feel need some mods to enhance reliability, performance, & stability. Servo throws, wiring connections, motor run w/wattmeter, control surface movements, clevis & horn connections, & landing gear mounting parameters. It has paid off handsomely with superb maiden flights. Don't hesitate to do a bit of homework & evaluations.
