Assuming the information below will post, it is an example of the kind of "attention getting teaching aid" use of modeling that has the potential to encourage technological progress. BANZAI! Yes, my Zero is going to be my foremost favorite fun flying fighter!

MAYBE THIS COPY WILL STAY HERE. THE ORIGINAL COPY KEEPS GETTING TAKEN OFF. INTERESTINGLY, THIS PICTURE WAS ORIGINALLY "VIDEO CAPTURED" FROM THE TV PROGRAM THAT I RECORDED AND INCLUDED ON MY ORIGINAL "MAD WEB TV SCIENTIST" WEB SITE THAT GOT SHUT DOWN WHEN WEB TV WENT OUT OF BUSINESS.

http://www.knowledgehunter.info/wiki/Nakamatsu Yoshiro Nakamatsu ( born June 26, 1928), a.k.a. Dr. NakaMats, is a Japanese inventor claiming to hold the world record for number of inventions with over 3,000. He is known as the "Edison of Japan." Nakamatsu claims that possibly his greatest invention is the floppy disk (1950). He is the only person who has licensed 16 patents to IBM, including the floppy disk.
He created his first invention at the age of five. (A model airplane stabilizer system.)
Nakamatsu is a graduate of the University of Tokyo. He has so far completed four doctor thesis and claims that he will never stop studying. Archimedes, Michael Faraday, Marie Curie, Nikola Tesla and Yoshiro Nakamatsu were chosen by U.S. Science Academic Society as the five greatest scientists in history.
He invented the Enerex, a pollution free car engine that runs on tap water and can generate three times as much power as a standard gasoline engine. It splits water,
producing hydrogen as the fuel. (No hydrogen tank is used, see above picture of Enerex.)

This is one of many scratch built control-line precision aerobatics airplanes used to provide "free advertising" for Japan's honesty about Enerex hydrogen from water technology.
I finally figured out how to get this picture posted. The large "Hot Pink" MP 707 (MODELING PROMOTER 707) is the very first Control-Line Precision Aerobatics airplane recorded on video flying an accurate book-pattern with real live measurable 5-7 foot corners on the square and triangle maneuvers.

Here is a clearer shot of the above discussed airplane.
A handy thing about control-line flying is that the planes can be flown in small spaces. Here is a shot of my scaled up "Littlest Kamikaze" demonstrating the stunt pattern and 5-7 foot radius turns on the square corner maneuvers. Politically correct stunters are capable of only about 20 foot radius corners. During a contest I was told that my corners seemed to be so sharp that no radii were detectable! The hand and the "book-pattern" stunt plane are quicker than the eye!
The newspaper article below shows that I have been expressing my rage against anti-science technology fascist bigotry for a quarter of a century! (Actually, the better part of half a century - please see GUNFIGHTER THREAD.) Yes, I will continue to do so as long as there is any strength at all left in my trigger fingers!
GOOGLING < mad thorium batteries > brings up my fighter posts nicely.
