I usually prefer not to put too much faith in factory specs, until they are backed by real pilots with their planes on a scale. I feel safer that way. Factory specs are sometimes no more than wishful thinking.

If they are really 9 to 10 pounds, then it is in the running for Christmas. I've got a YS 91 FZ that may be looking for a home.
