Maybe the best thing to do would be to buy all the kit except the engine and see how much extra nose weight is needed and select the engine from that. I'd still rather fit the OS tho

I haven't really looked at the APC props, they don't look to friendly for flick starting, but performance in the air is what i'm going for, so i'll get a couple to try

I'll have a look through the battery pack draw at my local model shop and see what's what, on aircraft at least i haven't try'd anything other than the standard 500-700 mAh 4 cell NiCds, i've try'd lots of different packs in cars, but weight doesn't matter so much there.
