Default RE: Quick - EP 10

The pictures that I posted (of the heli without the canopy) are of an EP 10 that was purchased from a Japanese vendor (note: the instructional cd was in Japanese). I used the website instructions as a guide. In the pictures, the frames are aluminum. If you go to the website, I believe a carbon fiber kit or uprgrade is available. I am not sure whether they are still shipping the aluminum frame as standard or G10(I don't know what material G10 is, but I believe it to be some sort of plastic composition). The basic kit does not include blades, motor, controller, servos, etc. If this is your first heli, with the radio equipment you also need a good heli transmitter that will let you use the collective feature. Some people are not fans of aluminum frames. I find it to be strong and lightweight. The motor, battery pack and blades are the heavy features of the heli. Lipo batteries would be lighter, but at this time I have opted for the nimh packs....good luck...
