Never experienced blanket out effect with mine with flying stabs, nor any other problem with them.

It is possible that you will have slightly less pitch authority at low speeds, but you can live with this just shifting back a bit the cg.. only problem with it is that the plane will be slightly less stable at landing approaches. Donīt think that using flaps in your plane would be a issue.
