I have 2 x SPT-5 in CARF airplanes. One moves with authority a Marchetti and the other one is only OK for the Tucano. The Tucano is an older model and a heavier one so it would benefit of more power. I've been thinking on a SPT-10 but this new Kingtech looks like a good alternative.

any my reports on performance in the future would be appreciated.
I only have two flights so far after switching (Post #20 and 33), but it does seem that it has a little more power. I will concede that I never got around to trying a different prop on the SPT, so not sure, but at the time I was going to try less prop, not more. I still need to get more flights, but that will not happen for awhile due to work, so I'm now waiting to hear other experiences. I also need to open some venting in the cowl area to help get more air movement in there.
