For a plane with the sepatate tailsurfaces... you CAN mix the elevator to the ailerons in a mode where the ailerons droop whent he elevator goes up. this is good for extremely tight loops. (caution... can cause severe stall-snap-spin!) This mix is normally a mechanical mix for control line stunt models.
For your Kombat 40... you won't need ANY of the computer mixes. Just treat the computer radio as a non-computer type. Select the correct model # for the Kombat 40. Follow the manual's instructoins to rest the settings to factory default. (even if you never changed anything.) Then go to the travel direction settings and set the correct throw directions. Center all trim tabs (if it has the mechanical type... I think that one has digitals) Now adjust the LINKAGES to center the control surfaces. Verify that nothing binds and the travel is correct. If there is binding or incorrect travel, fix it mechanically (pushrods... clevices...)
Always start out with 100% ATV and MECHANICALLY adjust. Use the computer to trim the throw within the range of 90% to 110% ATV for primary (high) rate. If you need more throw... adjust linkages to get it.
