at TIMPA.ORG . The manufacturer stopped the spar at the last wing joint where it swept up. Nothing but a hollow core after that. It's was an ARF so didn't know it was built like that. Spectacular
crash though. John G. was just ahead of me and though I had ran into him. I didn't, but he landed anyway just to have his wing drop out from under the P47 as it rolled to a stop??? Old model with
brittle epoxy holding the wing bolt mounts. My crash saved his plane ha ha.
