Yes sir, I looked your posting about battlefield structures. A long time ago Toys r Us had a few cheap things that I bought for one of our battlefields. They had a fountain for a village center, a bombed out barn and a few other $20 items, but I don't know if they are still available. I agree that the details decorating a battlefield are worth the effort. All of the structures in the photos of the backyard "urban battlefields" I posted were built by one Kellys' Heroes club member!

Thanks for the nice words about the derelict tanks in the snow. That was my first time at doing something like that and I really tried to do a good job at duplicating the photo. I was happy with the way it turned out. I learned that scratch building is easier than photographing a diorama. The tank up close is 1/16. The tank hull in the "distance" is 1/35 and it was done on the top of my bench. Perspective photography is tricky, I don't think I'm gonna shoot my mouth off about doing that anytime soon .....or ever again.

Offering to make my static stuff R/C is a kind and generous offer. But those who know me are aware that to touch my models in any way invites the wrath of Satan and risks dismemberment and other not nice things. You can trash my house, wreck my SUV, hack into my bank account, but don't ever think about touching "my babies". Still want me to come to Detroit?
