It depends on your tenacity. Almost anything is fixable. Sometimes it just a mater of collecting all the pieces and jigsaw puzzling it back together. I worked with a team that had absolutely no rc building experience prior to building thier project. Elevator link failure on take off and resulting crash with 20 lbs of weight destroyed the aircraft but they didn't know putting it back together overnight was next to impossible but they did it.
