If you need a beam type mount you can use the Dave Brown mount now sold by Ohio Superstar products. There are photos of each type of mount if you want to 'borrow' the design.
Good Luck!
What 4-stroke engine will you using?
Thanks for the info.

"What 4-stroke engine will you using?" Well, haven't quite gotten that far yet. I'm looking at a couple of different planes. I want to scratch build as I like to build. In the running are a couple variations of the InSite and another I'm waiting on some plans on to see how it looks as if that makes any difference. I have a YS 120 NC in almost new condition and am looking at a couple of YS 140's The insite planes in question flew on a 140. If I go with the 120 I'll just reduce the size a tad to accommodate the 120. I'm truing to get my ideas in line so I can start acquiring parts and pieces.

Ken

Either Ohio Superstar is out of business or the web site is down. I get the dreaded 404 message. I'll check later.
