Never tried it. It may or may not work, but in this situation I doubt it and I am not interested in stuffing around trying it. 60 bucks for a new housing - done deal.

I have always done my own maintenance/repairs, but a mate gets a good deal with Naruke, so it's on it's way there for a rebuild. It will be interesting to see if there is any difference in performance.
