I just did my maiden flight in my Waco with a DLE 20 on it swinging a 17-6 APC prop ( going to change to a falcon 17x6). On the first take off roll it went hard to the left once the tail wheel left the ground. I had to take it back and check over a few things but could not find anything wrong. On my next take off roll out I kept a little up elevator on and was prepared for the turn to the left, still happened but not as bad. I had a fair amount of expo in for my ailerons which made turning a pain. But other than that I added a few clicks of up elevator and a couple of clicks of right aileron.
Great flying bird, nice handling and good on landings. My only concern is that my DLE 20 was very warm after my second flight and I am not sure why.I have the same opening on the front as in the manual says but did not add anything at the back. I have a small hole for the muffler and another small hole for the ignition cable. Should I add more cooling on the out flow side of the motor?
