so did anyone succesfully bind the E710 Rx with a different TX?

upgrading to lipo and it keeps cooking the integrated one that came with the sumo. so im upgrading the electonics. instead of buying a new radio and setting all my cars to that one receiver id like to keep using the lansu for the obvious dual steering option built in. please help me im pulling my hair out on this one!
