It never did either. It runs around like a scared rabbit. I asked for help and got 10 or 12 pages of how to reprogram the controller. I just wanted to chase the cat around not become an electrical engineer. I am a mechanical engineer and we have a natural detainee for electrical and control engineers, I am sure the feeling is mutual.
I would definitely sell it if I could verify anyone out there is for real.

Top speed of a T34/85 is around 35mph...it wasn't a really slow tank. Being a mechanical engineer, slowing the thing down should be easy. It's not the electronics making it fast, it's the motors and gears that make it fast. Worse comes to worse, limit the throw on the remote controls...that's a mechanical fix also. It is a proportional system. If it's starts too fast, there is a fix for that. Not sure what effect you are looking for, but this thread may help:
