RE: Capiche 50
no problem, i was wonder how long it would take after i sneaked in a pic a while ago. i gaveup and had to slap you guys with a big wet fish till it got noticed.
I think it's a winner, and i'm not the only one, Christmas might come earlier than you thought Archie.. this isn't a fly by night thing i did.
i've taken shots along the way and a web page is on the build as we speak.
flight report. DAMN! windy, i needed to put in some down trim compared to the other wing ( think i got the engine angle wrong when i put it back after doing the graphics ) on KE i don't notice any roll, but it does go towards the wheels, nothing i can't hold with stick, nothing i can't program out, nothing i cant really blame on the extra down thrust, noting unexpected with a more draggy low wing. stabilty is great, roll rate good, it still looks great, transistion into hang is much easier, waterfalls are even tighter, the harrier isn't as stable as before, the wing keeps trying to fly, but less wind, less elevator and we'll see what we have. the elevator is VERY powerful now. walls are like you've hit one, might be the CofG too farback, but i have it kinda far back on the other wing too, i also have heavy ailerons that dont help, the wing is over built in the center and the heavy ailerons only add 6oz to the AUW over the other wing. she was flying backwards yesterday, and when landing at 0 forward speed jumped up 6 feet when i pulled back coz it wasn't done flying.
Choppy had a go and said it's great, TR and hangs good, just need less wind to find out for sure.
