Yes! 2.51 is a good upgrade. The one before it had the bugs. But those were fixed with the 2.51
It's really easy to update. Just put the update files on an SD card and flip the tiny switch over the SD card slot, power up and the radio does the rest. Power down, flip the switch back, power up. It does a little more updating and you are done.
