Bought my first r/c tank after losing my flying field & selling off my larger helicopters. 1st job carefully check all parts are present.
No, one wheel bearing is missing, get on to supplier none in Europe & Tamiya will not ship individual parts so have to wait until next container arrives could be months away. What sort of service is this on a model with a RRP of 1p short of £1000?
Bearing 4mm flanged p/n 19415793 also used on the Shermans as MR1 where can I get one please?
Also connection cable p/n 17175141 has on open circuit due to a bad crimp so need a replacement for that too.
Next question; I would like to use my Spektrum DX8 to operate the tank & have seen videos of guys with gun firing etc operated by extra channels & would like tips on how to achieve this. I presume mixing functions is the way but informed advice saves an awful lot of trial & error. Thanks in advance for any feedback & if anyone from Tamiya is reading this you can be sure this is the last of your products I will ever buy.
