Well, that's not a bad idea..
I actually painted that part white, as I did the "nose" of the plane. The fuselage will be clear blue, I just liked the ideal of the white too. In retrospect, I should have covered the fuze first, then stuck it on. Live and learn. I'm already thinking about the next one, using a clear covering,but paining the wood a bright white, then the edges of pieces other colors. Gotta finish this one first though, and see if it flies!
