Just reporting my findings what's not to understand? The engine seals great at TDC and will do even better once broken in.
The piston appears to be made out of steel with an aluminum button top allowing good seating after break in.
The piston influence is by Andrea Rossi he was commissioned to help design the engine. The engine came with an extensive manual.
Yes I checked the timing its a easy process to do, I have been checking them for all the tuned pipe vids posted. It visually closes
off at 170 but I say "ish" because it seals at around 172. "Unique button top for me as it is the only engine I own like this and porting
not so regular as the only other 2 stroke / two port engines I owned are Cox engines.
The slide carb works very well with the the GS Pro V12RR (see bench testing vid) the advantage is no restriction in the
venturi when open at full bore. You get instant on / wham full power in a snap. You can by replacement parts for the carb
setup but don't see any future need to worry about that. I do plan to polish the intake. The hole is bigger than a TD .09
The carb is designed to be leak proof and I imagine set up for best throttling with no barrel in the way
the intake hole is actually a good size. Major weight savings not having a separate carb assembly and
associated accommodations cast on the crankcase. At 121g its not much more heavy than the Vertigo.
This savings will allow it to work on the nose of the Skorch II without much fuss with the CG.
How about them TD .010 Lil Speedy vids have you guys messed with RC .010 at some point?
