Default Nitro fuel storage

I have one gallon of 15% nitro fuel, I read that nitro fuel is hydroscopic and absorbs water from the air. So as I only have 15% I want to keep it from the smallest of water contamination. The simple answer is to get some 20% fuel but my LHS has run out and the supplier has a back order. I could buy some online from modelsport uk but they have recently annoyed me and so have lost my custom and so I would prefer buy from my LSH than any online store. Anyway the question I have is can I put the 15% nitro fuel in small 500ml plastic water bottles with plastic screw cap lids. I would try to make sure there is no fuel in the bottle but there could be a small amount. The reason I am asking this is because 1 gallon of this fuel will last for months and I don't want to buy more 15% nitro fuel as its gutless on my .18 engine. With the gallon bottle every time I use go out for a bash I will use about 300ml of fuel (75ml fuel tank) this exposes the rest of the gallon to air and moisture. The bottle will have have the same amount of air in to replace the amount of fuel out, this will make my already gutless fuel worse. So can I put the fuel in 500ml plastic screw cap water bottles? Ps I have collected 10, 500ml bottles and cleaned them and dried them out.
